Custom Earplugs

Earplugs are effective at keeping out unwanted or damaging sound, but only if they fit well and make a seal around the ear canal.

A custom earplug is an earplug that is made specifically to the shape of your ear. A mold of your ear is taken, and then a vinyl or silicone plug is made from the mold.

The advantages of a custom earplug are two-fold:

1. The earplug fits much better. Since it is specifically shaped for your ear, the seal is much better and the earplug is less prone to falling out.
2. The earplug is flexible. This means that as the ear canal distorts (through the daily actions of chewing, speaking or yawning) your earplug will reshape and stay snug.
